E-commerce website for Cornish Spliced

Based in St. Ives in Cornwall, Cornish Spliced are a family -run business who use traditional fishing skills to give a new lease of life to washed-up and unwanted fishing gear, by turning it into beautiful and functional products.

They came to us to design, build and host a new e-commerce website for Cornish Spliced, which would enable them to showcase and sell their beautiful range of products online, whilst also demonstrating their strong Cornish identity, the sustainable nature of their business and the traditional skills that they use to make their products.

We designed and built the site to enable their range of different products to be found quickly and easily, as well as implementing a ‘Product Origin’ feature to enable items to be found based upon which Cornish beach the fishing gear that was used to make the product, was originally salvaged from.
